We went up to Redding to visit my grandparents during Spring Break. It was a surprise visit (in the sense that we decided to go on Wednesday morning and arrived Wednesday evening, I'm like that). My Grandparents were very happy to see the kids.
The only person who got prickly was the porcupine at Turtle Bay.
And surprisingly there was only one queen during the whole three day adventure.
We didn't watch movies in the car or anything. Just looked outside and listened to books that I had saved on the iPod. (Don't worry the kids wore seat belts and sat in their own seats, this car is at Turtle Bay, there is a movie screen in the back window and the radio plays old music)
