Okay, so I go on and on about it, but now it's here...SUMMER! What are we to do.
Well this week we started out signing up for the Library summer reading programs. Then we got out a slip n' slide and Audrey and JJ loved it!
JJ and I went on a BART train ride to Oakland for a doctors appointment, to save on gas, it was a lot of fun.
On Tuesday we vegetated and then rode bikes when Jay got home from work.
On Wednesday we went to the Bay Area Childrens Discovery Museum with Lauren who was late because her car was broken into. The kids had a lot of fun painting and building and playing. Audrey, of course, made a friend who was very cute and just the same age as Audrey, we saw her in every building of the museum. The highlight of the trip was probably the trip across the golden gate bridge. The kids loved it. I decided that we should do it again and go somewhere else, there are a lot of national parks and activities in Sausalito, now if I could only get to all of them in one day it would make the $5 bridge toll and the $4.50/gal gas worth it!
Yes that is the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Kaylee tried desperately to crack this egg, it was plastic, no matter what she hit it against it didn't crack. She finally gave up after about five minutes of tapping.
Grant was so good while we were there. He is such a cute little baby, I was happy to hold him, thinking that pretty soon it will be my little baby boy that is so cute all the time.
Today was our weekly park day with my friend Nancy and her kids and then slipin' and slidin' again! Later a trip to the Orange Library for their first summer reading program activity.
Kaylee didnt' quite get the slip n' slide. Maybe as the summer wares on.
Tomorrow is a big test for school for me, maybe bowling, and definitely piano lessons.
Then next week is up in the air. The baby will be turned on Monday; but that is another post.
Summer Sanity?

I love this blog!
how come the slip and slide is aimed at the sidewalk?...hope no one ends up with a road rash...LOL
Our front yard slopes toward the sidewalk, so when the slip n' slide was straight the kids couldn't get more than a third of the way down. So we aimed it toward the sidewalk, even then they were only getting almost there, as you can see in the videos.
